Cairns Dive Centre has certified dive trips departing daily to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Using state of the art diving equipment on the liveaboard vessel, M.V. Kangaroo Explorer, explore some of the best dive sites on the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 25 meter catamaran specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising. The main deck features a spacious saloon served by a top class galley and a well stocked bar. The top deck offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck and there is a licensed bar onboard. There is a library situated in the sun lounge if you feel like some quiet time. The Kangaroo Explorer is equipped with a spacious dive deck providing easy access to and from the water.

You will see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swimthroughs. Experience the unbelievable thrill of Night Diving on the Great Barrier Reef. We visit a variety of beautiful reef sites about an hour and a half off the coast of Cairns. These sites include Moore, Milln, Briggs, Elford and Thetford reefs.
