ASYLUM HAS ALL THE FACILITIES OF A HOSTEL PLUS MORE

Asylum Cairns Backpackers has Cable TV, Full Kitchen Facilities, Laundry Machines and fenced car park. 

The dining area has a huge park like area with mango and coconut trees. Sit on the swing under the trees and relax......and wait for the coconuts to fall on your head.
THE GAMES ROOM
 
Here you can play Darts, Table Tennis, Pool and Table Soccer. The pool and table soccer cost $1 per game. Table tennis and darts are free. There are competitions organised for some games regularly. There are also inter-hostel competitions with prizes.
   
INTERNET FACILITIES
    INTERNET IS AVAILABLE FROM  6:30AM TILL MIDNIGHT. It is free in the 15 min use computer. If you intend to use longer, you pay an unbelievable cost of $2 per hour. There are four computers available at the front office for your use.

and if they don't want to hear you, you can talk to us.  We are hyper active  insomniacs and we need someone to put us to sleep. 

We provide board games, guitars and musical keyboard at the front reception area.

Alternatively sit at the lounge area, enjoy the sun and music or just chill out in our hammocks. You can  get your free no.1 haircut.
